This month’s Pest In Focus was taken by a pest management professional at Gemtek Pest Control in Eagle, Idaho. A contrast to the most recent Pest In Focus image of a tiny wasp nest, this week’s photo shows the removal of a huge hornet nest! Hornet nest removal is a job best left to a pest management professional, regardless of the size of the nest, as stinging pests can be very dangerous for an amateur to deal with. This particular nest was found on eaves about 8 feet above the ground with hundreds of hornets buzzing around it!
